Dose-effect relationship and toxicity of Strychnos nux-vomica L
Sun Chengchun, Jia Nuan, Wang Jingxiang
1998, (2): 84-86,107.
Abstract:
It is evident that anti-inflammation and analgesia in dose-dependent of Strychnos nux-vomica L. from 40mg/kg to 80mg/kg, when the dose less than 40mg/kg it only showed anti-inflammation, its toxicity increased when more than 80mg/kg. Strychnos nux-vomica L. also might increase evidently the weight of thymus. The po LD50 in mice was 140.13±14.74mg/kg. The results suggested that the dose of Strychnos nux-vomica L. must be suitable.

Effect of strong light on the stability of ofloxacin and glucose injection
Zhang Mingxiang, Zhang Li, Zhou Ring
1998, (2): 92-94.
Abstract:
Effects of different pH, illumination time, illumination intensity on the stability of ofloxacin were observed by means of cross curve experiment design. The results showed that no significant change was found in the apperance of the solution, pH, A450nm, the antibacterial activity against escherichiacoli after illuminating. However the content of ofloxacin reduces and the area of impurity peak increases. The effect of pH on the stability of ofloxacin is greater than illumination time and illumination intensity.

Intellectual multi-column high performance liquid chromatographic system and its application in the quality control of traditional chinese medicine
Zhao Zhilan, Lu Feng, Wu Yutian
1998, (2): 97-100.
Abstract:
High performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) has taken some effects in the analysis of traditional chinese medicine. But conventional single-column mode can't satisfy the increasing needs of providing multi or even whole components' imformation in the modem research of traditional chinese medicine. Intellectual multi-column high performance liquid chromatographic system(IMC-HPLG) is a new conception based on both column switching HPLC and intellectual technology. Due to the miscellaneousness of the analytical samples, sectional separation property of column switching technique is employed to cut the sample segmentally into different kinds of columns, and then, elute with suitable mobile phases. The whole procedure is controlled intellectually. In the earlier period, favorable solid/mobile phase and chromatographic conditions are selected and multi-column flow diagram is designed. In the middle of the procedure, precision of the column-switching is controlled automatically. In the later stage, a great deal of imformation detected is analysed to eliminate the false and retain the true, to obtain the trustworthy qualitative and quantitative results. The system is expected to complete multi-component quick analysis of such complex samples as traditional chinese medicine, biological fluid and environmental specimen.
Determination of econazole and clorimazole in econazole and clotrimazole solution by dual-wavelength spectrophotometery
Wang Guifang, Zhang Shouyao, Shen Xia, Wang Bingjun
1998, (2): 100-102.
Abstract:
Two components of econazole and clotrimazole solution were determined by dual-wavelength spectrophotometry method. The average recoveries and RSD were 100.36%, 0.74% for econazole and l00.76%,0.53% for climazole. The method was simple and accurate.
Determination of two components in compound norfoxacin ointment
Yang Yizhen, Feng Hao
1998, (2): 102-104.
Abstract:
The determinatian of two components in compound norfoxacin ointment was established Acording to different solvent selectivity of norfoxacin and clotrimazole, two components were extraected respectively with different solvents from one sample. They were determined by UV and double phase solution negative ion surfactants titration method. The average recoveries of norfoxacin and clotrimazole were 99.18%(n=4.RSD 0.83% ) and 98.95% (n=4.RSD l.02%) respectively. IN this method, equipments were simple and easy. Reagents were obtained easily. It is simple and rapid and suitable to analyse preparation(s) in the hospital.

Abstract:
This paper reported the determination of dexamethasone sodium phosphate injective by polarimeter the linear relationship is good in the rang 1mg-10mg/ml the average recovery is l00.08%. RSD 0.36%.
