  • It is evident that anti-inflammation and analgesia in dose-dependent of Strychnos nux-vomica L. from 40mg/kg to 80mg/kg, when the dose less than 40mg/kg it only showed anti-inflammation, its toxicity increased when more than 80mg/kg. Strychnos nux-vomica L. also might increase evidently the weight of thymus. The po LD50 in mice was 140.13±14.74mg/kg. The results suggested that the dose of Strychnos nux-vomica L. must be suitable.
