Abstract
Objective To develop a method for determination of content of camphor in camphor cream. Methods The content of camphor in camphor cream was determined by UV spectrophotometry.The detection wavelength was (289 ±1) nm. Results There was a good linear relation between camphor content and Abs in the range of 1.28～3.84mg/mL. The average recovery was 101.7% with RSD of 0.4%. Conclusion The method is simple and accurate.
