Determination of prim-O-glucosylcimifugin,cimifugin,4′-O-glucosyl-5-O-methylvisamminol and sec-O-β-D-glucosylhamma-udol in Radix Saposhnikoviae by HPLC

  • Objective To establish a HPLC method for the determination of prim-O-glucosylcimifugin,cimifugin,4'-O-glucosyl-5-O-methylvisamminol and sec-O-β-D-glucosylhammaudol in Radix Saposhnikoviae. Methods The sample was analyzed on an Agilent Zorbax SB-C18(5 μm,150 mm×4.6 mm id) column with methanol-water mobile phase for the gradient elution.The detection wavelength was 254 nm and flow rate was 0.7 ml/min.The column temperature was 25 ℃ and injection volume was 5 μl. Results The HPLC method for the determination of four major components in Radix Saposhnikoviae was established.The result of method was good. Conclusion The method was simple and feasible,and accurate which could be available for the quality control of Radix Saposhnikoviae.

Abstract: Objective To establish a HPLC method for the determination of prim-O-glucosylcimifugin,cimifugin,4'-O-glucosyl-5-O-methylvisamminol and sec-O-β-D-glucosylhammaudol in Radix Saposhnikoviae.
