Preliminary clinical observation of DF-521 in treatment of sudden deafness

  • Objective To investigate the effect of application of DF-521 on sudden deafness.Methods One hundred and eighteen patients(130 ears) with sudden deafness were randomly divided into two groups(DF-521 group and control group), Beside intravenous adiministration of DF-521, another treatments in DF-521 group were the same as that in control group including 6% Dextran-40, Salvia Miltiorrhiza, TTFD,ATP,CoA and dexamethasone.Result The total efficacy of DF-521 group was 85.0% and total efficacy of control group(P<0.05) was 65.0%.Conclusion The application of DF-521 can significantly improve the effect of treatment on sudden deafness.
