Determination of content of phenol in ear-drops by differential spectrophotometry
OBJECTIVE To establish differential spectrophotometry method for determining phenol and to eliminate interference of excipient.METHODS Determining ΔA different ultraviolet spectrum of phenol in 0.1mol·L-1NaOH and water,detection wave length 288nm.RESULTS The recovery was 99.8%,RSD=0.12%.CONCLUSION The method is simple and accurate.
