Studies on bioavailability of nimodipine soft capsules in healthy volunteer

  • The Bethune International Peace Hospital, Shijiazhuang 050082

  • A single oral dose of tablets or soft capsules of 60mg nimodipine was given to 8 healthy volunteers in a randomized crossover study.plasma levels were determined with HPLC method.The plasma concentration-time curve fitted 1-compartment open model,and 2 dose comparative Tmax,Cmax,AUC were not significantly different from that of the tablets(P>0.05).Although the sofe capsules could reach peak level faster,the bioavailability with same biological effect.
