The effect of Carthamus tinctorius injection on blood viscosity, function of platelet , anticoagulation and fibrinolysis of the patient with cor pulmonale
CHAI Zhen-lu, CHEN Xiao-nan
2003, (5): 260-263.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE:To explore the effect of Carthamus tinctorius injection on blood viscosity, platelet , elotting and fibrinolysis in the patients with cor pulmonale. METHODS: 60 patients with acute cor pulmonale are divided into two groups. The 30 patients of control group are treated with routine drugs, the other 30 patients of Carthamus tinctorius group are treated with Carthamus tinctorius (30mL, qd, for 15d as a course) on the basement of routine treatment. Examine the patients' blood viscosity, PAgT-Max, granular membrane protein ( GMP-140), plasminogen (PLg) and tissue-type plasminogen activator ( tpA) of pre-and after the treatment. RESULTS: The total efficient rate of contral group is 86.7% , and its notable efficient rate is 30% ; While in the Carthamus tinctorius group these two figures are 93 % and 60 %. The notable efficient rate in Carthamus tinctorius group is significantly higher than that of control group, (P<0.01 ). After the treatment, the blood viscosity and platelet index of Carthamus tinctorius are significantly lower than before ( P< 0.01-0.05 ) . The antithrombotic and fibrinhlysis activity are significantly higher than that of before the treatment, the PLg, anti thrombin Ⅲ ( AT-Ⅲ ) are significantly higher than before , but the tpA has no significant difference ( P> 0.05 ) . CONCLUSION: The acute cor pulmonale is in a pre-thrombotic state, the Carthamus tinctorius injection can notablely inprove this state, and it suggests that the Carthamus tinctorius injection may play a role in clinical to treat cor pulmonale.
Hormone replacement therapy and reliability
YANG Quan-hai, WANG Xia
2003, (5): 263-266.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: Hormone replacement therapy is wide used by menopause women. It existeed disputation all along in academe . The security is terrible. METHODS: To search literature of during the period 2000~2002 and summarize evaluation. RESULTS: The treatment of hormore replacement therapy of menopause women is essential. The sticking point is how to securit and rational and specification use dosage of HRT. To balance HRT interest and misinterest. CONCLUSION: HRT extract ill effect of menopause women relate to physician and patients error using. HRT avoid cardiovascular disease and prevention osteoporosis and compare with benefit of the others organs systennic. Interest surpass misinterest.

Study and development of ethosome as drug delivery carrier in skin penetration
WANG Jian, ZHONG Yan-qiang
2003, (5): 275-277.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: To report the research and development of the ethosome. METHODS:The analyses for the information involved with the character and components of the ethosome , and the pharmaceutics mechanism of the transdermal drug delivery system that preparated by the technology of the ethosome encapsulation , and its newly basic experiment and reseach progress. RESULTS: As a carrier of various drugs, the ethosome shows good drug encapsulation and marked acceleration of trasdermal drug delivery. CONCLUSIONS: The technology of liposome encapsulation will be appear a wider foreground in futue.
Lacrimal pharmacokinetics in rabbit of chloramphenicol eye drops with the addition of densification
TANG Qi-wen, HUANG Hong
2003, (5): 277-279.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE :To assess the pharmacokinetic difference after new densifier adding into chloram-phenicol eye drops in rabbits tear. METHODS :The concentration of chloramphenicol in rabbits tear was determined by UV spectrophotometry at different time . The concentration-times data were analyzed with PK-GRAPH. RESULTS: The mean pharmacokinetic parameters of chloramphenicol eye drops in two preparations exhibited significant difference, kinds and concentration of densifier have great effect on pharmacokinetic parameters. CONCLUSION : Chloramphenicol eye drops with the addition of chitosan and sodium hyaluronate as the densifier can slow down decline of drug concentration in tear, may increase significantly the treatment efficacy of the drug.

2003, (5): 283-286.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: To evaluate medinal safety of oil of spine date seed . METHODS: Acute toxicity test and blood biochemistry test were used. RESULTS: We did not get LD50 to mouse and rat, and no chronic toxicity to rabbit skin. The weight and blood index on rat were not remarkable from contral group, We did not find pathology difference on heart, liver, lung, kidney, adrenal gland, thymus, spermary, matrix, ovary etc by general view and pathology slice. No evidence irritation reaction had happened to guinea pig skin、rabbit eyes and part of cunt. We had not found hypersensitivity guinea pig skin. CONCLUSION: The seed oil of spine date is safe on medinal usage.

2003, (5): 289-291.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE:To establish the best method to determinate the quantity of anthraquinones in Zhuyu-fuzheng capsules. METHODS: Anthraquinones in Zhuyufuzheng capsules was determined by three methods. RESULTS: The average recovieries of two colorimetries and the new method were (99. 98 ± 2.21 )% 、 (102.56 ± 1.36)% 、(98.13 ±0.74)% respectively. However, the new method was simpler, quicker and more reproducible than any other one. By this method, the problem of stablility did not exist. CONCLUSION: All three methods can be used to determinate the quantity of anthraquinones in Zhuyufuzheng capsules. And the best method of three is the new one we established.
