Detecting bacterial endotoxin in procaine hydrochloride injection by limulus test after excluding interferentail factor by extraction
ZHANG Ming-qiong, ZHEN Hong-hui
2003, (3): 153-155,170.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To establish a method of detecting bacterial endotoxin(BET)in procaine hydrochlo-ride injection, and to explore the feasibility of excluding interferentail factor of limulus test by extraction.METHODS ; After sodium hydroxide changed procaine hydrochloride into procaine, and chloroform extracted procaine limulus test was performed. RESULTS 15 batchs of procaine hydrochloride injection were detected. The quantity of BET in each batch was less than 0.25EU·mL-1 and their BET pollution degree were described truly. CONCLUSION Extraction excluding the interferentail factors of limulus test could widen range of application of BET exammatron.

2003, (3): 157-159.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To observe analgesic action of composition Asarum decoction made up of Asarum water decoction and verapamil by the experiment in mice. METHODS:The method of turning round the body and hot plate were used in mice. RESULTS Composite Asarum has significant analgesic action by general application and its action is more powerful than that of the sole Asarum or the sole verapamil. CONCLUSION Verapamil can enhance the analgesic action of Asarum water decoction. Composition Asarum and verapamil can be applied as an effident analgesic drug.

2003, (3): 167-169.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To establish a method for the content determination of asterisprgesterone in Zhikeqing-fei oral liquid. METHOD TLCS was selected to determine the content. RESULT The linearity was obtained within range of 0.87-4.95μg(r=0.9991),The average recovery was 99.4% with RSD =1.2%.CONCLUSION The method appeared to be sensitive, simple, specifie and acurate for the determination of a sterisprogesterone in Zhikeqingfei oral liguid.
