Determination of buddleoside in Zhikuoyangyin granules by HPLC

  • Objective To establish a high performance liquid chromatography method for the determination of buddleoside in Zhikuoyangyin granules. Methods The HPLC method was performed on a DIKMA Platisil ODS column (250 mm×4.6 mm,5 μm) with the mobile phase consisting of methanol-water-acetic acid (55:44:2). The flow rate was 1.0 ml/min. The sample injection volume was 20 μl. The detective wavelength was 326 nm. Results The calibration curve of buddleoside showed good linear response ranged from 2.95 to 98.3μg/ml with r=0.9999 (n=5). The average recovery of spiked samples for buddleoside was 100.2% while the relative standard deviation for repetitions was 0.96%(n=15). Conclusion The method was sirepie, sensitive,reliable and repeatable,and could be used for the quantitative determination of buddleoside in Zhikuoyangyin granules.
