Review of the analysis methods of iodine in biological matrix

  • Iodine was one of the most important trace elements in human nutrition. It was essential for the biosynthesis of thyroid hormones, which was closely related with the mental development, growth and basic metabolism. Iodine spead and exist widely in many forms. The analysis methods of iodine in human body, food, medicine and environmental received many attentions. The analysis methods of iodine in biological matrix were reviewed to give some references for the further research.
