Determination of forsythin in Kangbingdu oral liquid by HPLC

Abstract

Objective To establish a method of HPLC for determination of forsythin in Kangbingdu oral liquid.Methods A LUNA C₁₈ (2) column was used. The mobile phase was acetonitrile-water(25:75).The flow rate was 0.9mL/min.The detection wavelength was set as 277nm. Results The linear range of forsythin was 0.46～2.3μg,and the average recovery rate was 100.06%,RSD=1.0%. Conclusion The method is simple, reliable, and accurate and can be applied to the quality control of preparation.
