  • OBJECTIVE To study the chemical constituents of Bletilla striata(Thunb.) Reichb.f.METHODS The constituents were separated and purified by column chromatography with silica gel,and sephadex LH-20,and identified by spectrum,and physical data.RESULTS Four compounds were identified as:β-sitosterol(1),dancosterol (2),syrindaresinol(3),caffeic acid(4),CONCLUSIONS Compounds 2,3,were isolated from this plant for the first time.
