  • Depression was a common mental disorder. Nowdays, anti-depressants included tricyclic antidepressants, monoamine oxidase inhibitors and reversible selective monoamine oxidase inhibitors, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, selective noradrenergic reuptake inhibitors, serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors, norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitors. The progress on drug treatment of depression were reviewed in this paper.

Abstract: Depression was a common mental disorder. Nowdays, anti-depressants included tricyclic antidepressants, monoamine oxidase inhibitors and reversible selective monoamine oxidase inhibitors, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, selective noradrenergic reuptake inhibitors, serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake inhibitors, norepinephrine and dopamine reuptake inhibitors. The progress on drug treatment of depression were reviewed in this paper.
